Hangzhou Urban Planning MuseumIt's me who's planning
Here the viewer becomes the urban planner. With five LED light pens anyone can sketch the blueprint of a new city onto the large black drawing surface. Simultaneously, in the opposite HD projection, a new city is raising from the ground. Yet this is more than just entertainment: A scientific particle engine powers this installation and only a functional design will produce a flourishing city. On 26 auxiliary screens the audience can follow all the rising and falling numbers and facts and learn about the crucial importance of urban planning.
