Using A.I. to Tell the Story of A.I.

Recently, the China (Beijing) International Audio-Visual Conference (CIAC2023) was held in Beijing. On the afternoon of August 4, the "Immersive Video Application Forum - Immersive Video International Exchange and Industry Promotion Conference," centered around the topic "Immersive Video Autonomous Technology Going Global," was officially launched. The forum deeply discussed the latest development trends and prospects of immersive video technology. The organizers invited outstanding industry representatives from both domestic and international sectors, such as BLACKBOW, Xenario, and Lanjing Technology, to give specialized talks on various topics, including technical exchanges, industry development, and practical applications, presenting a feast that blends technology and application.

The founder of Xenario, the chief designer of the Shanghai Planetarium, and the master of future design, Alexander Brandt, was also invited to attend this grand event. During the forum, Alexander Brandt shared the new model of integrating the immersive industry with artificial intelligence and presented his new immersive sci-fi experience work—AI's Dream, sparking a heated discussion among attendees.

According to Alexander Brandt, AI's Dream explores the theme of "the relationship between humanity and artificial intelligence in the near future," with interactive exhibits designed based on scientific principles. Audiences will enter a new virtual space and follow the digital lifeform AiAi to experience fourteen real-life physical scenes. They will engage in interactive storylines and learn about AI, astronomy, aerospace, and other scientific knowledge, experiencing a new immersive mode where AI interprets AI within the narrative.

What's even more innovative is that after completing the AI's Dream experience, the audience will receive an automatic movie featuring themselves as the protagonist. As explained by Alexander Brandt, the venue integrates technologies such as facial recognition, voice recognition, and natural language processing, allowing AI to analyze the audience's behavior and automatically edit and generate a personalized movie. Audiences can also choose different movie styles and apply beauty filters or other customization options.
